HATHWAY INDICATOR OF ROUTER

 Hathway broadband bengalore Router consist of the list of indicators given below

  1.POWER        2.PON                3.LOS       4.INTERNET    5.LAN   1-4        6.PHONE     7.WI-FI              8.WPS            9.USB     

1.POWER INDICATOR

If the status of the indicator is off then the device is powered off. 

If the status of the indicator is solid green then the device is powered on.

2.PON INDICATOR

   If the status of the indicator is off then the device has not started the registration process or the device  is not powered on.

   If the status of the indicator is solid green Then the device registration is sucessful.

   If the status of the indicator is flashing(2HZ) green the device is being registered. 

   If the status of the indicator is flashing(1HZ) green the device is being upgraded.

 3.LOS INDICATOR

   If the status of the indicator is off Then the device recieved optical power is normal or the                  device is not powered on 

         

   If the status of the indicator is solid red Then the device is optical transmitter of the PON interface       is powered off.

   If the status of the indicator is Flashing red then the device optical power is less then the optical         receiver sensitivity.

4.INTERNET INDICATOR

    If the status of the indicator is off then the device is not powered on, there is no WAN connection      with internet properties configured ,or the WAN configuration is not effective.

        

    If the status of  the indicator is solid green then the device WAN connection to internet is                      established and the device gets an IP address .

    If the status of  the indicator is flashing green then the device data is being transmitted via the              WAN connection to internet .

5.LAN-1 to LAN-4 INDICATOR

     If the status of the indicator is off  then the device is not powered on or the network link is not               established.

     If the status of the indicator is solid green then the device network link is established but no data is       being transmitted or received.

     If the status of the indicator is flashing green  then the device data is being transmitted or received.

6. PHONE INDICATOR

     If the status of the indicator is off then the device is not powered on,or the voice service            cannot be registered on the soft switch.

     If the status of the indicator is solid green then the device voice service is sucessfully registered on       the softswitch.

      

     If the status of the indicator is flashing green the device voice service traffic.

    (NOTE:currently hathway is not providing phone service in broadband package)

7.WI-FI INDICATOR

     If the status of the indicator is off then the device is not powered on, or the wireless interface is             disabled.

    If the status of the indicator is solid green then the device wireless interface is enabled but no data        is being transmitted or received.

    If the status of the indicator is flashing green the device data is being transmitted or received.

8.WPS  INDICATOR

   If the status of the indicator is off then the device is powered off, or the WPS function is                       disabled.

   If the status of the indicator is solid green then the device WPS function is enabled. 

   If the status of the indicator is flashing green the device WPS function is working. 

9.USB  INDICATOR

   If the status of the indicator is off then the device is powered on ,or the USB interface is not                 connected.

  If the status of the indicator is solid green then the device USB interface is connected and operating      in host mode,but no data is being transmitted. 

  If the status of the indicator is flashing green the device USB being transmitted on the interface.
