HOW TO CHANGE USERNAME AND PASSWORD OF HATHWAY WIFI ROUTER

hathway broadband bengalore  procedure to change username 

Connect hathway internet throught WLAN to your pc, 

1.open your browser and type   192.168.1.1 then click on search,you will find this page  

2.login with,USERNSAME ;-admin.

PASSWORD ;- 12 alphanumeric charecter of mac id of the router without hyphen.

VALIDATE CODE;-type as it is you see below now clik login

3.click on NETWORK option   

4.click on WLAN

5.click on SSID SETTING in ssid name tab  SSID NAME  (set your wifi user name ) and click on submit , refresh the page then your user name is updated

                                          

procedure to change password 

1.open your browser and type   192.168.1.1 then click on  search ,   you will find this page  

                                 

2.login with username ;-admin  password;-12  alphanumeric charecter of mac id of the router  without hyphen ;-type as it is you see below ,now click login

3.click on NETWORK option   

4.click on WLAN 

5.click on SECURITY 

6.in the WPA PASSPHRASE  (set your password){ your password should incluide speacial charecters, numbers,alphabets }and click on submit ,now your password is sucessfully updated 

                    

FORGOT PASSWORD ,SET DEFAULT USERNAME AND PASSWORD  

If you forgot hathway  wifi password u can reset in to default username and password 

1.In the right side of your router you will find small hole named as RESET 

with the help of pen nib pennitrate the pen nib in to reset hole press and hold it for 30 seconds ,now your wifi username and password changed in to default  you can find your username and password in the back side of the router

(WPA/WPA2-PSK:********)

 your  password will be  8 alphanumeric character mentioned after the WPA/WPA2-PSK:_________
